About the Author
Abhishek Tripathi dons many hats; when he’s not occupied with his 9-to-5 corporate job, he works as a musician, a lyricist, and a writer. He showcased his talent as a music director in the Bollywood film
“Chintuji”, the music album titled “Odhni Rongeyili” in Oriya, title songs for TV serials like
“Chai Ke Bahane” and &”Bunty Babli Ki Mummy” for Doordarshan. A popular theatrical figure, Tripathi has worked as the music director for over 40 plays. He has composed and conducted the music for famous plays like Saiyyan Bhaye Kotwal, Chanda Bedni, Kanjoos, Kahani Le Lo, Anand Raghunadan among others. His articles have been published in different journals, magazines and Newspapers.
Tripathi learnt music under the guidance of renowned composer Late Pt. Jwala Prasad of All India Radio.
He holds a doctoral degree in music and has organised multiple production and orientation workshops on music and theatre. His fascination with composing started at the age of seven and in 1991, he made his first composition. Tripathi continues to stay dedicated to music because it fuels his creativity and
proactiveness in daily life.
