The Night Can Change But Not The Past

Why do I sense my past?

My bolting journey is still too vast.

Couldn’t emancipate I’m about to blast;

Yet I’m whacked to be a bronze cast!

Why are you trailing me all over the map?

Hauling me to the sombre vale of tears.

Pardon me to confront a tickled pink nap,

At worst I can elude from my nightmares.

Though Time modifies the whole caboodle,

The stain is there to prod in oodle.

My Dear, grin as though you have no wounded cell-

The only utterance I could tell myself to turn well.
