GRATITUDE EXPERIENCE

It was my second semester in architectural engineering. I had passed my 1st semester with a good percentage. The results of my second semester were not announced as yet.

It was a tough time in the girls hostel. It took too much of an adjustment with the result that my attendance lacked and I used to bunk my classes and sit in the cafeteria to divert my stress. I used to sip on tea and enjoy sandwiches just in pursuit of an outlet. The head of my department, Mr. Mahoora, used to see me and wave and go on with his work.

And yes! The finale. The result came and I was just mearly able to pass. Mr. Mahoora met my parents and me and instilled in me an ambition to work harder and gave tips not to go into depression. He showed me the work of my seniors and gave me a chance to give 18 papers in a week. They were the papers of the last semester as well as the new semester and I gave them with my juniors. And yes! With hope, good wishes and encouragement, I faired quite well in all of them. At least, I did not have to waste an year and my sincere and warm regards and heart felt attitude goes only to him.

Encourage those whom you think,

are capable to do things in a blink,

for life holds many challenges and hardships,

not easy to handle in little chips,

and

when the success comes and tries to settle,

it takes a little bit to boil the life’s kettle

and

what is gratitude all about,

except to successfully climb the life’s mount.
