FRIENDSHIP - ZorbaBooks

FRIENDSHIP

`For Saturday night, we all planned for a great night out. To spend this weekend in a little different manner. So, we all were super excited for the weekend to arrive. Eventually, the weekend arrived shortly than our expectations. On Saturday, when it was a quarter past seven in the evening we planned to depart from the home and meet near the avenue.

So, up till now, everything was smooth and nobody went missing. After twenty past seven, one character was missing. (She is one of the elegant girl on our crew). Who unfortunately couldn’t make up for the night out. So, the entire group got pissed off. I tried convincing her to join but all she said was a big “No”. They’re already were in a great mood for a party. So, I didn’t wanna spoil their mood. But I also wanted to check the missing character. So, I decided to cut off and check up on her. I rushed to her workplace.

Oh, yeah she accepts orders for portraits, she runs a small business! And I know she is quite a lot busy!

As I went to her workstation all I would see was papers all around, her one pair of socks lying next to the couch, messed up rooms, sharpener shavings, and the room was a hell lot messy.

Ahhhh… Messy shit, where are you? I announced in a high-pitched voice.

“Here Maam!” She responded with a deadly voice.

“Why ain’t you cancel the party? They all gonna flame you up tomorrow for ruining the plan!” I threatened her.

“Well, I got too much of a task. So I denied going! But what about you? She asked. I too denied going! Why?” she exclaimed!

You know what, parting and chilling outside on the cold roads aren’t my types of the weekend!

“I know about you!” She said.

“Well then stay with me here tonight, I got work don’t annoy me! Clear up the couch and sleep” she added!

“Oh, means you don’t want any help from me?” I questioned.

“Shut up and sleep!” She mumbled.

I cleared her couch, lead on the couch, and asked her ” When will you sleep, you already look so exhausted! Keep those papers away and come get some nap will do them tomorrow”, I said!

“I need to hand over the portrait by tomorrow noon, so…. can’t take a nap, got a lot more work to do!” She claimed.

“Okay fine, but see to that you wrap up quickly and take a nap!” I muttered.

I looked her so fascinating because monitoring small businesses, coping with studies, managing her needs on her own in her 20s is a big deal and fulfilling her responsibility was not an easy element too.

While laying on her couch what all I noticed was the struggle she goes through, lack of sleep, skipping meals, and sometimes free time too.

I jerked out of the couch and stirred her favourable drink and placed them near the desk. “Finish them before you sleep “, I said pointing at the mug.

She raised one eyebrow and asked “What happened to you? ”

Nothing, I nodded my head and reached the couch!

But all I wanted to say was ” I appreciate your dedication and sincerity, your powerful and hopeful mind, your courage, sacrifices, and struggles. And of course, I love the clumsy you!

Even though these words are unsaid, I know you understand them from my actions! So, speaking out never bothered you neither me! This is how our friendship functioned all the way!
