WHISPERS IN THE CURLS - ZorbaBooks

WHISPERS IN THE CURLS

In secret glances, I catch a glimpse,

Of curls that sway, in daylight’s winks.

They tumble like whispers, soft and free,

And weave their spell quietly over me.

Your eyes, like peacocks, vibrant, rare,

A thousand colors hiding there.

Green and blue, a world within,

Where dreams start and feelings begin.

I’ve never found the words to say,

That you make the sun feel shy some days.

But maybe someday you’ll notice me,

A heart that’s hoping, silently.

For now, I’ll watch your laughter play,

And wish to catch those words someday.

Until then, I’ll cherish the view from afar—

Your peacock eyes and curls, my morning star.
