Mother India

India with its freedom fighters,

from Mahatma Gandhi to Abdul Kalam,

the ones who donated every moment to her,

sacrificed their whole to mother India,

the tragedies of the soldiers on borders,

the love for their country which bonded them,

till today the bondage is remembered,

the final trial at independence

and

with the very first Jawahar lal Nehru

whose birthday is worshipped as children’s day,

together the constitution holds for India

and

with it the motherland was made independent

till this present moment the independance cannot be challenged,

with joys and sorrows we Indians stand upright

and

take a vow that we are standing together

for a proud and beloved India.
