One mid morning Ali goes to Ram’s place. As he arrives, he says to the guard that he has been called by Ram and as he wanted to hide his identity because of security reasons, he says that he was a local coming for some work. The guard gives him permission and Ali goes inside. First as he enters Ram’s room he is reluctant to talk to him and hides behind the curtain. Then he talks to Ram.

Ram tells him about the encounter in which he got wounded. He said that there was a small war at the border. Ram was with 2 outside militants. They were about to fire some more indian officials on duty when all of a sudden Ram grounded them and thus saved the indian officials who were on duty. But as a result Ram himself got wounded as the police fired him back. He was taken to an army hospital and taken care of. He then got shifted to Shimla’s suburbs along with his family. He said to Ali that he was still having contacts with militants and the messages were coming to him in coded languages which were of their origin. He knew the languages and could easily decide the messages by translating them.He said further that underhand ammunition was even getting supplied to these militants by him and Farida. Ali listened all of this and was wanting to talk to his father Atul about all of this.
