Chapter 6

Ali decides to meet Ram ( father of Nargis) so that he can come to know the truth behind so much of fortune. One fine day, Ali skips school. He knows that Farida, Nargis’s mother would go out with the driver to take Nargis back from school. He goes at about 12 pm to her place. He sees that the gypsy van is missing. As he reaches the place, he goes in disguise inside the villa on the terrain. He reaches the room occupied by Ram and immediately hides behind the curtain. Ram sees him and cautions him not to move. Ali comes closer to where Ram is resting. Ali introduces himself to Ram. He tells him that he is the best friend of his beloved daughter Nargis.

Ram tells him that he has often heard about him. Ali tells Ram that he has come on purpose and asks him how he was feeling . He tells him that Farida was a muslim woman and he had married her for protection from neighbouring countries. He had left Kashmir liberation front long back and had become a militant with his other 2 friends. He was in fact being followed by the secret agents of neighbouring countries like Pakistan, China,Tibet etc. He was getting paid for this work by foreign government. Ali tells him that he knew something was wrong about the whole thing.Then he told Ali that he was sending codes through computers to the foreign countries and had married a kashmiri muslim for further protection but his life was a great risk as these activities were illegal here in India.
