Why to Lead an Ethical and Disciplined Life?

The world is now facing multiple crises – the crisis of self-confidence and trust in others; lack of morality and integrity; scarcity of respect for self and others; artificial crisis being created by unlawful and immoral desires, and too much greed and too much selfishness. Many people are suffering from mental agony due to their lack of knowledge, and deficiency of morality, integrity, probity, and respect for others; while a small number of people, who are ethical, moral, disciplined, honest, and follow certain values are leading a healthy and happy life wherever and whichever capacity they may work. It is being observed that many people around us are often complaining about their fate, family, father, and political situation where they live. It cannot be completely ignored, because when more people are dishonest and mentally ill; you being an idle, honest, sincere, and ethical person cannot live peacefully, and prosper as per your talent and skills, and competence. However, blaming others for the present distressful condition by scores of people has become the norm of the day. The separation between husband and wife; separation of children from parents; deprivation of a large section of people have broken the mental peace and tranquility of millions across the globe. Unequal competition, mismanagement of family and office, and misappropriation of funds are in vogue in society and politics. Corruption, consumption of intoxicated items, engaging in illicit activities, making money through illegal ways, and nexus between politics, police, and lawyers are observed in every society. Excessive money, wealth, jewelry, and immoral sexual relations might bring temporary mental peace and satisfaction; but ultimately those make one’s life full of misery and distressful in due course of time. All these have caused personal, familial, societal, and national losses. How far shall we continue to bear the losses of health, life, and property? Human beings are the most valuable components of a country. We cannot afford to degeneration of human resources. The time has come to rethink and review this alarming situation.

Most people want to get respite from all the physical, social, and mental degression and personal losses. People are going to spiritual leaders and gurus for salvation. They do not know that mental peace and personal as well as familial advancement can not be attained through the advice or jugglery or sorcery by some crafty and clever persons; all these needed spiritual and ethical knowledge. Because knowledge is the most powerful weapon with which we can kill all social and mental evils. With the advancement of globalization and industrialization, the mental agony and excessive demands of people have grown. Many have started to consider themselves worthy of being a king or queen or prince or princes. A large section of people has forgotten about their real worth, their real physical appearance; their actual internal knowledge base, and their educational attainment and social position. They all want to touch the Moon and stars in the sky without making themselves worthy enough for those. The people’s level of tension has doubled and tripled due to absurd and unscientific demands and wishes. Most of them are having lack proper value-based education; nil or lower sense of self-worth and respect for others; little knowledge of self-control; deficiency in morality, honesty, probity, and sincerity; they have improper upbringings, lead an undisciplined and unethical life; and most of them have disturbed, rambunctious and estranged parents and family.
