A big applause I expected for it.

Believe me, was pale as paper,

frozen folks! No one spoke out, insipid  looks, no smiles.

I almost  was to enter my own room.

What could have gone wrong, I was a bit tense

I was  extremely perplexed  and  unsure 

I had not  enough time to  ponder 

I let it cool, after probing a bit

Now I could guess better, with mellowed  thoughts

Above  the  cupboard  was a very small hole

It was the one, probably an entrance 

The tiny cockroach  got inside, stealthy brat !
