I gave my heart to you, with all its flaws and fears,

Because I knew your love, and dried my tears.

So, yes, I’m hard to love, but you made it seem so easy,

You loved me when I thought I was unlovable, and that’s quite breezy.

You saw the real me, and still chose to stay,
