Football

From far in the trees, the monkeys were avidly watching the kids play football. Now they wanted to play too. But getting a ball was no easy task. The kids were almost continuously running about and the ball was never long enough in one place…. One of the more active monkeys tried to make a run for it and grab the ball was seen and shooed away. The kids were clever they realized immediately what was happening and grabbed the ball protectively.
The dejected monkey went back to his brothers in the trees. Then the clever one in the group said that we need to plan and get the ball. So he devised a plan. This was the plan: One of them would pick up one of the T shirts and cap from the ones that could be seen on the chairs there and then move about as if they were part of the kids and grab the ball and run. The job was given to the active one in the group who understood the plan well and was good at acting. In no time the T shirt was stolen and put on, the cap donned and nobody saw anything as all were busy paying attention to the game. Then he ambled up quietly near the ground and when the ball came near him, he grabbed it and ran back into the trees and into the forest; where the monkeys had a good time kicking the ball in all directions.
