Blue Mountains On the Precipice
Blue Mountains On the Precipice
Lofty blue mountain ranges
Are standing on the precipice,
Sending the signals to all living beings
To stop awhile, and pause before advancing,
As the path is rough and thorny, and
The downfall is imminent on the
Slightest pretext;
The silver white of the roving clouds,
Raise hopes of sparkling life ahead;
But can one look upwards on this perilous
Journey, where the difference between
Existence and oblivion is so thin, and
Often illusory;
For eternity, blue mountains will stand
On the precipice like the silent custodians
Of bright sunlight and the life in bloom,
For the moving wayfarers, never expecting
Any bolt from the blue for them.
