E-books or Paperbooks

A verbal fight broke between

The paperbook and the e-book;

They tried hard to win their point

Of view, by hook or by crook.

The paperbook was proud of legacy,

It has endured for long time, the

E-book brazenly bragged about its

Quicksilver growth and popularity.

‘Paperbook is liked by the youth and old

Alike’, claimed the paperbook vehemently;

E-book replied in imperious tones that

The youth prefer it unmistakably.

While E-book highlighted its prices low,

The paperbook dwelt upon its longevity;

Libraries exude an enchanting fragrance,

While e-books appear so drab and dreary.

Their arguments gradually turned into heated

Exchange, and each threatened with dire

Consequences; paperbook was mainly verbal,

E-book was gifted with strong network virtual.

Very few listened to the paperbook’s calling,

The e-book message was circulated wide;

The paperbook was loser in the end, while

E-books were grabbed with a sense of pride.
