Just Let It Go
Just Let It Go
This is the time to release the dust,
Accumulated from the past debris,
Of my bad dreams and shattered ambitions;
I want to let it go and see it fly
In the air;
I finally want to say, get lost, my stalker-in-chief!
But I think with the hindsight, whether
The day will come, when
There will be only myriad atoms of air,
Inside the closed cusp of my tender
Palms; when there will be no vestiges of
Dirty dirt encapsulating the human beings
Around; I ask myself repeatedly,
Would the final day ever come?
Why can’t we store the sunshine
In place of dirt, I often ask myself;
But I know from my experience,
That the dirt is easier to pick,
Than the specks of sunshine;
Time is fleeting like sand particles,
And I am stuck
In the groove of my own making.
