The Journey of Life is Labyrinthine

I yearn to enter the labyrinth,

And go for a massive treasure hunt;

But I can’t make any headway though

I am leading from the front.

I know that the paths are topsy-turvy,

And are strewn with thorns of myriad kind;

Yet I have to tread gingerly on the way,

Avoiding the hurdles that we may find.

The journey of life is labyrinthine

That we encounter till the end;

We have to move all alone without

Any accomplice or the friend.

Those who have enough resolve and

Courage can reach the desired milestone;

Happy riding is never expected but

The confident steps set the tone.
