The Seasons of Us

People are like Seasons, ever changing

Each one brings a new face, rearranging.

Some are harsh, like winter’s cold embrace,

While others warm us, like summer’s grace.

Some can be destructive, like a storm’s fierce might

While others bring joy, like a summer night.

Like seasons, people come and go,

Leaving footprints in the snow.

As the winds of change blow, they drift away,

New faces emerge, with a shining ray.

But just as we mourn the passing of the old,

We embrace the new, with hearts bold.

And as the final leaves fall from the trees,

We’re left alone with our memories.

For seasons change, and people too,

Leaving behind moments, both old and new.
