THE DAY TO COME - ZorbaBooks

THE DAY TO COME

I’m tired of pretending strong

Now I hope the day comes near,

When I won’t be afraid of being alone

Or my emotions would just disappear.

Even if I get pains with no cure

I’ll act as my precaution,

If I see him, I won’t shed tears

Neither I’ll have any emotions.

Even if they say they want me back

It’ll take me seconds to cut off,

I know I still love them hard

But I already cried enough.

Even if life puts me down

I’ll learn to stand by my own,

Like I’ve been wearing a crown

That will reflect the fights, I won.

I’ll turn myself so brave

Whatever it takes me to,

Deleting the memories once I saved

I know the day will come soon.
