Mother
And mother here I lie down
In her lap underneath this blue scarred moon
Reminiscing the lost child in me
Reminiscing the lost mother in you
Reminiscing the lost me and you
For all I crave for even now is your shade
Under which I’ll lie down peacefully
Which might cure my ailing heart
But the shadow that is silhouetted over me
Is not yours
I wish, I could go back and ask you for it
If that’s not too much for a child to ask
To let me lie there next to you
I don’t want the talking
Just your shade, that would sufficiently fill me up
To move on
To move on to this woman next to me
