A Frightening Prank

It was the darkest hour of April Fools night. Three friends, Ariana, Alicia and Anushka, had gone out for a late night walk. They decided to take the desert path, because everywhere else was crowded. They started out, chatting and laughing happily, when suddenly, something caught Anushka’s eye. She dragged Alicia and Ariana over, showing them a small lump in the sand.

And you won’t believe what they saw. It was a UFO, half buried in the ground! You should have seen their faces! They were confused, what was an alien’s space ship doing in the middle of nowhere?! They decided to look around the UFO for any unusual things. Ariana looked carefully and spotted 2 pairs of minute footprints, leading somewhere into the desert. The three began to follow the footprints. They went straight through half the desert, circled around many cacti, and ended in a dark, spooky, empty cave. Ariana and Anushka really wanted to go in but Alicia was too scared and didn’t want to. But they dragged her in anyway .

They tiptoed silently through the cave, keeping absolutely alert. Suddenly , Alicia let out a shrill scream of fear. An alien with 4 legs, 5 hands and 10 eyes had appeared! It cornered the girls, growling and drooling. Then, it did what they least expected. It took off its head! Under it were 2 girls , who screamed ‘April Fools’ ! It was actually their friends, Nancy and Bree, pranking them the whole time! What a frightening prank!
