I Am………

I am……….

I am an English six letter word,

 With not a single vowel-

I stand out, but I am not so exceptional

Because I am there

Everywhere-

In many patterns, with many interpretations,

Sometimes inherent, sometimes induced,

Sometimes created, sometimes enforced…..

Without me, no life can be…….

I am there in every movement, every heartbeat, pulsation, resonance;

Slow, steady, fast, accelerating, decelerating…………….

In music, poetry, dance, every life process, in rain and sunshine, darkness and light,

Every rotation, every revolution,

While rocking a baby to slumber………………

I am RHYTHM, A LIFELONG COMPANION.
