A New Festival of Lights

We see light,we want light but we can truly appreciate light if we know darkness…..if light comes unexpectedly from darkness,or you felt that darkness from some corner will never get dissolved.

She was now struck with a bolt from the blue, something unpredictable and unprecedented. But the super strength of Goddess Kali bravely fighting the terrible darkness resonated within her. To her festivals were far beyond rituals and purchases. The spiritual significance of each festival with the associated deity, the different interpretations,the artistic depictions mattered to her more. She felt God more in solitude and peace then amidst crowds and noise.

What a power Goddess Kali is! How powerfully She could fight in the darkness to destroy evil? How loving,caring,fearless Devi is! How energizing it can be to imagine her!

Darkness again leads to light, and we must be on the right path with the right senses guiding us. Devi’s third eye steers her so beautifully in darkness towards the abode of light!

She had interpreted darkness and light in a different way this time to celebrate a New Festival of Lights!
