This was a land of

God and Goddess

This was the land of

Kings and Queens

Then it was stolen and sold

By some foreigners

Who brought slavery?

We lost many great Leaders

We lost our mighty Soldiers

All of them give up their lives

For peace and harmony

Years went by

Until again our flag flies high

Nightmares were over

Once again we all Dream

For a new better tomorrow

But things turn to worse

Hate took over Love

We all fight among ourselves

Brothers fought with Brothers

In the name of Caste and Religion

Give me back, my old India

‘The Golden Bird’

Give me back, my old India

Where we all lived as one

Give me back my old India

Or let me die in its’ blood.
