Whispers of Gratitude
Whispers of Gratitude
I wake to the sun’s warm, golden light,
Grateful for another day, another fight.
The breath that fills my lungs with ease,
A quiet breeze rustling through the trees.
For health that carries me, steady and strong,
And the rhythm of life, like a soulful song.
For laughter shared, for tears that heal,
For every emotion that makes me feel.
I’m grateful for family, a steadfast embrace,
For friends who light up the darkest place.
For kindness shown, both given and received,
In the power of love, I’ve always believed.
For nature’s canvas, so vast and grand,
The rolling seas, the shifting sand.
For towering mountains and skies so wide,
And the gentle rivers where dreams abide.
For simple joys, a book, a song,
The comfort of knowing I belong.
For meals that nourish, for warmth and rest,
Life’s smallest treasures are often the best.
For lessons in failure, for growth through pain,
For the cleansing power of autumn rain.
For resilience found in the hardest fight,
And the hope reborn with each new night.
For the gift of creation, the spark of thought,
For wonders of the world, both learned and taught.
For moments of silence, for spaces to be,
In a world full of chaos, the quiet sets me free.
So here I stand, in awe, in cheer,
Grateful for all that brought me here.
With a heart full of thanks, I humbly say,
Gratitude shapes each passing day.
