About the Author
Rakesh Bhola is a Law Graduate from Delhi University and holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Punjab University Campus, Chandigarh. He served as a Lecturer in English in various colleges. He honed his natural flair for writing by authoring various books early on in different fields like Indian Political System (1984), International Law (1990) and Central Excise Audit (2005). Having devoted more than 20 years to the Department of Revenue and being well conversant with this field, he practices primarily in Indirect Taxation
matters and has a vast experience at various tax tribunals/courts. He is enrolled in the Bar Council of Delhi and is also a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association. Apart from practicing in the field of law, he devotes most of his time to academic work to which he has always been irresistibly drawn.
Culling out Indian judgments for studying the relevance of the use of literary references therein has been his dream pursuit he wanted to indulge in for a long time and here his dream stands fulfilled and the labour requited in ‘The Bards In The Bench’.
