Musafir is a collection of poetry in English and Hindi comprises of wavelets that want to become part of a wave. Communication for me is giving a part of me to my readers. Communication for me is celebration of life, with all its complexities. Musafir is about discovering the self. It is about convictions and beliefs.
About the Author
Professor Purnendu Ghosh writes in English, Hindi, and Bengali and has written books in different genre. Among his books are – Knowing the known, The rising sun, Neural suitcase, Ethics of the chair, Looking into the mirror, Magic of the morning sun, Parichit se parichay (Hindi), Du Poysar Icche (Bengali), Biotechnology in India, Mind of an engineer, Engineering of life and life technologies.
Prof. Ghosh, an alumni of HBTI Kanpur and IIT Delhi, was Professor at IIT Delhi, and is currently the Executive Director of Birla Institute of Scientific Research Jaipur. He has also worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich switzerland, National Research Centre for Biotechnology Braunschweig, Germany, and the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and is currently its Vice President. He is President of Biological Engineering Society. He is the Founding Editor-in-chief of INAE Letters, A Springer-Nature Publication.
